The puppies registered name will be decided by Teufel Hunden German Shepherds. Changing the name given by the breeder on the papers will void the warranty. The name given is done within the alphabet in order of the breedings to keep track of each puppy. The dogs call name can be whatever the purchaser chooses.

Deposits are non refundable unless an agreement is made prior. There is a 25 month hip and elbow guarantee on all puppies. If the puppy receives a score of Moderate or Severe from Ofa at the age of 24 months then it shall be replaced with a puppy of the breeders choice from another litter, when one becomes available. The diagnosis must be confirmed by a licensed veterinarian in writing that the affected hips or elbows are due to a genetic condition and were not impacted by environmental, injury, sickness, or feeding problems. Once confirmed to be genetic the warranty will be applied. This veterinarian must be given permission to speak to us about the diagnosis and cause. If the seller should disagree with the buyers veterinarians diagnosis and cause we hold the option to request a diagnosis and cause from a different licensed veterinarian. Should the puppy be bred before the age of 25 months and receiving xrays from Ofa, the warranty will be voided. Should the puppy have an accident where bones are broken or bruised, the warranty is void. X-Rays must be approved by the breeder before sending to Ofa to ensure the correct positioning is done. Every six months a mandatory examination is required from a licensed veterinarian. Proof of examination is required for warranty claims. Spaying, neutering, or breeding a puppy before the x-rays are done will void the warranty. When preparing for x-rays the dog must be equally between heat cycles. So if the heat is every 6 months then they must be done at the 3 month mark. A quality kibble such as purina pro plan large breed puppy, orijen large puppy, or Victor grain free active dog and puppy must be fed. These foods are formulated for growing German Shepherds having a balanced calcium to phosphorus ratio. If the buyer should choose to feed a different brand of food they must consult with the breeder prior to discuss the pros and cons of the different food. Receipts for the food must be kept Incase a warranty issue should arise. A picture of the puppy showing a standing top and side view must be taken the first week of every month to ensure the puppy is not over or under fed. The attached picture is for reference and the dog should maintain the weight outlined in black. Teufel Hunden German Shepherds must be informed of any injury or sickness. Every puppy receives either a tattoo or microchip. This identification is used to ensure the sold dog is the dog in question. The tattoo or microchip must be verified by the veterinarian when x-rays are conducted. Since internal and external parasites can be picked up anywhere they are not covered under warranty. De-Worming your puppy and other animals is very important. Please continue preventive measures. Please do not take your puppy to a dog park, daycare, or anywhere other dogs have been that you don’t personally know are clean. When visiting your veterinarian you must carry the puppy. Do not set it on the ground. Puppies don’t have the immunity of adults and are very susceptible to parasites and diseases. We treat all puppies and parents on a regular basis. It’s the buyers responsibility to continue treatment with their veterinarian on a regular basis to ensure the health of the dog  Within 48 hours of receiving your puppy he or she must be examined by a licensed veterinarian. Please plan ahead and schedule a visit with your veterinarian. Some will even do home visits.

Should the puppy need replaced and all guidelines are followed, we will replace the puppy from a litter of our choosing when available. Only one replacement shall be given. The replacement puppy will not carry a warranty. The warranty only applies to the original purchaser. The original puppy and papers shall be returned to Teufel Hunden German Shepherds if the purchaser no longer wishes to keep it. If the purchaser does decide to keep the original puppy, a replacement shall be given only when proof of spay or neuter and return of the signed papers to Teufel Hunden German Shepherds have been completed. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost of the original and replacement puppy.

Teufel Hunden German Shepherds and it’s affiliates are not responsible for the following. Damage to people, animals, and property. Medical and maintenance bills are the responsibility of the purchaser. The purchaser will be provided with a healthy and social puppy of their choosing. The maintenance of the puppy must be continued. This includes socializing, health care, and training. All responsibilities from the date of purchase shall fall onto the purchaser. Owning a pet is a huge responsibility. If the purchaser is no longer able to keep the puppy then they must give Teufel Hunden German Shepherds the first chance to take it back. By purchasing a puppy from Teufel Hunden German Shepherds the purchaser agrees to all the above terms of this posted contract. Failure to follow the above guidelines will void the warranty.
